Cute as a button.
Beauteous bunny.
Pursuit? Resist? Dog in
Acute distress.
Amused mistress
Opens backyard door.
Scraped kitchen floor (but
No blood and no gore),
Out like a flash, dog
Makes wild dash –
A whiplash
Striking air –but rabbit
Striking air –but rabbit
Vanishes, as if
Never there.
