The Hod and I
(About my Standard Poodle, Holly, and her propensity for sticks and branches)

So, The Hod and I went for a walk, despite the soggy evening.
As is her wont, she sought, and found a long, twiggy branch littering the damp ground, and wouldn’t budge, until I let her pick it up in her mouth. Then, she proceeded, stick in mouth, chin up, ears back, tail high, stepping with pride on the sidewalk, as she walked me up the street. The people in their cars at the intersection looked amused, and one woman, rolling down her window, said, “You’ve put a smile on ALL our faces!”
That’s our Holly – the Original Medfordian Stick-Hound (also, a Banana-Hound, but that’s not relevant to this story, is it?!).
