On the eve of my birthday (wait, it IS my birthday now, since its now 12:30 a.m.), I wish to say this:

I am happy to be alive.

I am happy to love and be loved.

I am happy to know good people.

I am happy to learn new things.

I am happy to teach.

I am happy to just be.

There are merits to growing older.

I shall go to bed now — sleep beckons.
